About Lucky Loot RPG

Lucky Loot RPG is a browser-based action RPG built around a single obsessive loop: fight, die, collect loot, upgrade, and push deeper on the next run. Every combat encounter drops equipment or crafting materials; rarer drops come from bosses and elite enemies that appear after clearing enough standard waves. The loot table has five rarity tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary — and higher-rarity items carry larger stat multipliers that stack multiplicatively with upgrades rather than additively, making each rare find feel like a genuine power jump.

The upgrade tree splits into three branches: Offence (attack damage, attack speed, critical hit chance), Defence (max HP, damage reduction, HP regeneration per second), and Fortune (drop rate multiplier, gold earn rate, experience gain). Early runs should heavy-invest in Offence to clear waves faster; mid-game pivots to Fortune unlock a compound loop where higher drop rates accelerate upgrade purchasing, which in turn lets you clear harder waves, which drop better loot. Survivability upgrades in Defence become essential past depth 15, where elite enemies one-shot an under-defended character.

Each "depth" is a procedurally assembled floor with a fixed number of enemy waves. Completing all waves unlocks a boss gate; defeating the boss rewards a guaranteed Rare or above drop and opens the next depth. The game saves permanently between sessions using local storage, so your upgrades, highest depth reached, and discovered loot carry over across browser restarts. Mobile browsers are fully supported — the controls adapt to touch with left-side movement pad and right-side attack button.

How to Play

Tips & Strategies

Prioritise Fortune upgrades at depth 5

The drop rate multiplier from Fortune compounds with every enemy killed. Getting to 1.5× drop rate by depth 5 pays off all future runs — rare drops appear 50% more often for the rest of the session.

Dodge before you attack, not after

Elite enemies telegraph attacks with a red flash ~0.5 seconds before impact. Roll immediately on the flash — rolling after the attack animation starts is too late above depth 10.

Stack damage-reduction before the final boss

The depth 20 boss deals burst damage that ignores your offence stat. Arrive with at least 30% damage reduction or HP regen above 8/sec — survivability wins the boss fight, not raw DPS.
