About Knife Hit

Knife Hit challenges you to embed all your knives into a spinning wooden log without striking any knives already lodged in it. Each level gives you a fixed number of knives to throw; the log rotates — sometimes at a constant speed, sometimes with sudden acceleration bursts or reversal mid-spin. Throw at the right moment and the knife thunks satisfyingly into the wood. Throw at the wrong moment and the knife strikes an existing blade with a crack, ending the level.

Boss logs appear every five stages. Boss rounds have a boss character in the centre of the log — a skull, a demon face, an ice crystal — and require hitting all their embedded apple-shaped targets rather than just filling knife slots. Hitting a boss target scores extra points and sometimes splits the target into two bonus items. Boss logs spin faster and reverse direction unpredictably, making them significantly harder than standard rounds.

Scoring rewards consecutive knife throws without a miss. A 3-knife streak earns a ×1.5 bonus on the next successful hit; a 5-knife streak earns ×2. Purchasing unlocked knife skins (cosmetic only, no gameplay effect) is available from points accumulated during play. The game adapts beautifully to mobile: the entire gameplay mechanic is a single tap or screen-click, making it one of the most pick-up-and-play experiences on the platform — no tutorials needed, instant comprehension, deeply satisfying execution.

How to Play

Tips & Strategies

Watch for speed changes, not just position

The log's rotation speed changes mid-stage. React to the speed, not the visual gap — when the log accelerates, the existing knives rush toward your throw zone faster than your eye predicts. Wait for deceleration windows.

Throw in the log's natural pause

Most logs have a millisecond pause at the extremes of their oscillation (stages where logs swing back-and-forth rather than full-rotate). That pause is your guaranteed safe window — learn to feel it and throw precisely then.

Slow stages are harder than they look

When the log barely rotates, the visual gap between knives looks wide but the log can accelerate unexpectedly. Maintain the same deliberate timing discipline you'd use on fast logs.
